K & T PLANT HIRE WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1998
by Pat Gillooly and the late Pat McCreadie, succeeded by his son, John McCreadie.
The Company was initially formed to manufacture and supply furnace ash for the brick and block industry who use this material to make light-weight blocks. We are proud to be Scotland’s sole supplier of this product.
We began removing furnace ash from disused railway lines and have carried on to acquire further sites whereby we can also produce other recycled materials such as 6F2 and sand. We currently have one of the largest sites in Central Scotland.
In addition to this we have operated land-fill sites for soil waste for over 20 years, restoring them to greenbelt upon completion.
We currently operate a fleet of tipper trucks to service our customers across Scotland.
